Angus has sold Lara to a good home in Shetland. It was really sad to see her go. I assisted when she was born. We used to say that she was just made up of spare parts, but as a five year old she has developed into a beautifully proportioned horse and will be a good allrounder . Below is her as a foal with mother (Miss ASP) and as she is now. Click to enlarge photos

Had a very interesting time near Invergordon last week building stables for Mrs Maclellan at Coillemore. Anyone who is competing or spectating at their 3 day event later this month will be in for a treat. It is a fantastic setup in a brilliant setting overlooking the Cromarty Firth.

Stephen is home for 2 weeks with his horses. Arka hurt herself last weekend and is getting intensive treatment (equissage and solarium) to get her fit for the big shows coming up.

Great news. Rumalia is back under saddle today for the first time since March 2005. Here she is with Stephen, Angus and Lex. Click to enlarge photos.

In a brief visit between customers, Angus competed Vagabond V and had a disappointing 4 faults in the Newcomers.

3 previously owned horses competed well in showjumping, showing and working hunter. The star was Berke van het Rivalenhof, who with new owner Karen Peel got two seconds in working hunter and showing.

Stephen was competing at Towerlands in Essex, with Sumas Nevada (Arka) and she was placed 8th in a very strong 1.10m class with 81 entries. The next day they had a very unlucky 4 faults in the 6 yr old class. Arka is progressing well and should be ready for next months Highland Show Foxhunter class.
