Was so impressed with your set up today. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to do what you have done!

Angus. A quick e-mail to let you know how I'm getting on with Tancer. -- As you predicted his flatwork has improved quickly, already he is making me have to up my game and ride more advanced movements. -- I've just to learn which buttons to press and get us more consistant before seriously competing. --- He's very good with me, he makes me laugh as when I get it a bit wrong either jumping or on the flat, he grumbles like an old man, I think he's trying to speak and tell me to do it properly! -- I'm really enjoying having only one to concentrate on and he is exactly what I was looking for, he's really special, a very sweet horse to have around, I think he is thriving on being the centre of attention rather than just one of many. Thanks again.

Nic’s just great and we're heading to Turnberry this coming Sunday (was re-scheduled due to the rain)...its the regional final which is a very big qualifier for Badminton horse trials next year.  Looking forward to having a crack at it but am also realistic....He’s been a complete star though and I never imagined to do so well so quick and so consistently with him.  He’s quite a character though and would definitely be a monster in the wrong hands!!  But seriously talented so have high hopes for next year. Have just registered BD for the winter so looking forward to having a go at that with him. Will keep you posted.

It was really good to come back to your yard, although obviously sad at the same time, and happy too because I got Winnie!! She is an absolute star and has settled in so well. She's such a polite mare and is very calm. I had her out yesterday for a flatwork and gridwork lesson and she did very well. Off to Orkney on Wednesday for some training and qualifiying jumping for the County Show, so fingers crossed for that.

Thanks again for all your help, and for making us feel very welcome down with you, you certainly run a fantastic yard, and definitely produce, and can supply some cracking horses. We will not have any hesitation recommending Drumcarrow to anybody up here, I think you have already proven what you can do, given past dealings and history. The vet was extremely happy with Lara when he vetted her today, and was very impressed with her condition and what she was capable of.

Just a quick update to let you now Berke is getting on really well! Went to our first show the Wednesday after you dropped him off and did a couple of classes. He was greatly admired and jumped double clears and was placed 4th! I have been out to a couple of shows since then and we are consistently going well over 90-1m classes, our first working hunter is this weekend and XC training mid week in preparation for a hunter trials the following weekend so all is going well. I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and Angus for all your help. Anyway thanks again I couldn't be happier with him, he is a great horse and I love him to bits!

We bought Walter from you last December and I just thought I would let you know that he is doing great! He settled in straight away and has not put a foot wrong since! Over the winter we have been getting lots of dressage and jumping lessons and he is so calm when away from home. We have allot of shows planned this season and we are going to take him to the beach soon which will be fun

I bought my horse from you --- His name is Zeb a 4yo dutch warmblood gelding. He is a really friendly little horse. He's getting on really well. We've been doing a bit of dressage and jumping. It turns out he's got a pretty big jump! We're off to cross country training in April which should be interesting.

Hope your all well. Not sure if you'll remember me but I came up with Elaine Shand and purchased the wee ex race horse Charlie from your about a month ago!! You were on holiday at the time when I collected him but your dad said you like to know how your horses get on. Well good news so far!! The boy has been fantastic from day1,think I was more stressed about the move than him ; ). He schools beautifully, jumps and hacks out no bother! We've been up the stubble fields most nights and he's so well behaved! Even when there was a group of 5 of us lined up to canter he didn't take off!! (Explains why he didn't make a great racer!!!) To top it off he has such a placid nature and everyone on the yard adores him!!! After owning a pony from hell before I very much appreciate having such a kind horse and if he keeps it up he's got himself a home for life! My plan next year is to enter some racehorse to riding classes with him so I will let you know how that goes. I shall keep in touch!! Thanks again,
Liz Fincher
Anyway we had Saleen and Urssela and Alpha at a big showing show the other day in the warmblood classes. Urssela came 1st, Saleen came 2nd and alpha got 4th........!! (they said Saleen would of came 1st but was being a pain and would not stand etc) Those drumcarrow horses cleaned up that day.............! anyhow just thought you would like to know, that they are all doing well.

He’s a lovely horse just getting used to too many titbits as he seems to be a hit in the yard with the stable girls!!!

I thought I'd send a quick e mail to let you know that Madam has settled in really well. She's out 24/7 with a rug on at night. She seems to be getting on with her field companions. She's great to deal with in her stable, she is also getting a personality. She loves her food & eats anything you give her. I am trying to get to grips with her amazing trot. I have bought a dressage saddle & at the moment am bouncing about a bit. I am getting a lesson from Helen Brown on Wednesday so hopefully she'll help to sort me out. Thank you for finding her, she has been worth waiting for. So far so good.

Thought I would give you a little update as to how Savannah is getting along. She is settling in very well to her surroundings and we have been going out in the trailer quite a lot between having lessons, hacking and even our first low key dressage comp I took her to last Saturday. (she was 1st and 2nd just an intro and a riding test we did). She is an angel and she certainly suits my personality very well. We are hoping to take her to more dressage comps over the summer, and maybe a crumply camp for a bit of fun

Soraya (aka Wonky) is settling in well, and just what Alice needs...but the reason for this email is to let you know how well Polly and Fly did at Burgie International Horse Trials this weekend. Aside from rubbing shoulders with Zara Phillips, Ruth Edge & Caroline Powell they were 5th in the Open Intermediate 3 day event. Results at: http://www.bdwp.co.uk/cgi-bin/3d.pl?page=sj_res&fn=bge08.csv&sct=F Fly absolutely loved the steeplechase phase and three people I know who were fence judging on the cross country phoned me to tell me how well Polly and Fly jumped their jumps. At least 4 people I didn't know asked me where we got Fly from; so I told them! You'll be needing to pay me commission soon!

I must say Lola is doing great, she is such a wee star and I love her to pieces.

Had kept meaning to get in touch with you after buying Miss Alpha, it's been a few months now! Brilliant horse, having a blast with her. We've been really successful at local shows doing 75cms (she's walking over them) and some dressage. She's settled herself in really well and is in great form. will be sure to be in touch when any of us is next looking for a horse. Cheers
Laura Morrison
Bought Vica from you last year. Really enjoying her - did Strathearn, Balkello, Craigie and Gleneagles with her this year at novice level and we're getting on fine and thinking of getting another one to play with —

Just to let you know that Adventure has settled into this new home very well. Rebecca is having great fun and I have a very happy daughter. He is going wonderful on the lunge and he is getting his new saddle fitted today. Thank you again for all your help and if anyone is looking for a new horse I will point them in your direction. Once we get our first red ribbon I will let you know.
Carol Young
He's so funny, he thinks he is a stallion and prances around like he owns the yard, everybody that has met him falls in love with him instantly! I have had absolutely no complaints with him and don't think I will ever sell him
Amy Clark
I am just loving Ukora. She has been a real asset ----
Caroline Southesk
Thanks again for selling Ollie to us and being very honest about his behaviour, if we had not know what he could be like I am sure he would have been back!! we will be recommending your service to anyone we know looking for a horse.
Jane Sharp
Arra has settled in really well and Iona is over the moon with her. She is all she hoped she would be and more and has a lovely temperament.
Liz Bamber
I just want to say a big thank you for your time, help, honesty, and openness re- Lucky much appreciated. There was such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the yard that made us feel at ease. As buying a new horse can be such a tiresome, stressful time for all involved. Yet with the relaxed and professional approach such at Drumcarrow it was a pleasure.
